We've all gone the natural way when it comes to skincare and beauty products (well, most of us have now!) and what we've realised so far is that the purer the ingredient, the better the effect, amirite? We've always wanted glowing skin, that peachy freshness that one gets without really having tried too hard. Well, do we have news for you! We recently came across a 100% made in India brand called Pavitra Plus (yay, #vocalforlocal) and it has this amazing range of bio products that are meant for five things - giving us an instant glow, skin tightening, anti-acne, anti-pigmentation and anti-tan. Phew! That solves most of our skincare problems, right? Well, we're super excited to try two of their products - the bio skincare oil and their face and body ubtan. Let's start with the first one.Their bio skincare oil is paraben-free, 100 per cent natural and is said to be suitable for all skin types. I personally have sensitive skin, so I'm usually pretty cautious about trying something new on my face. The trick is, always do a swatch test. This product is said to help dry skin, and also said to have a swift effect on blemishes. It comprises of Himalayan sea buckthorn berries, argan oil, saffron extract and almond oil. Honestly, I'm just excited to see all these ingredients come together in bottle form. A 50 ml bottle will cost you INR 425.The next one is their body ubtan that has orange peel powder, red lentils, saffron, turmeric and a few other ingredients that will remind you of those days when you'd raid your mom's kitchen to make such face packs. I know I've done it in the past! Now, this is a mix of an exfoliator, astringent and skin tonic, all rolled in one. What I like about this is that it's made using ingredients I know and have used multiple times before, so there's no fear in trying this out on my skin. A 50 gm bottle will cost you INR 450.They also have an oil and pollution control face wash (with aloe vera and pomegranate), lavender oil and even tea tree oil that you can use in so many ways.
