Set amidst the Nilgiris in Coonoor, this online platform offers everyday cotton accessories designed by women belonging to the&nbsp;indigenous tribal communities of the region.&nbsp;Through their initiative called Agai, Indian Yards has upskilled these women to craft accessories like face masks, aprons and bags - all made of cotton that we're totally loving. Available in handloom, chevron, leheriya, pastel and kalamkari prints, their cotton masks are, of course, reusable but also adjustable and come with an embedded filter for protection. You get to pick from three options - elastic harness, turban-friendly and cotton tie-up cords based on your comfort and needs. Price for a set of two masks starts from INR 220. They have masks for children too.&nbsp;Block-printed and embroidered cotton aprons in muted tones, as well as cotton drawstring bags and tote bags, are on offer. The fact that they are all eco-friendly is an added bonus!&nbsp;

That's how Indian Yards was born - with a vision to empower the women of the Nilgiris with skill and employment; who then turned out to be fine crafters of cotton fabric and yarn. The brand now handcrafts a range of sustainable home decor, kitchen and macrame products. From patchwork cotton quilts to cotton bags, cotton aprons to even cotton face masks, there's so much that they offer.&nbsp;&nbsp;We're particularly in love with their collection of macrame products like the coasters and the plant hangers.
