Growing up in a Jewellery-loving family, Preksha’s interest in fine jewellery stemmed at an early age. From attending Jewellery shows to helping her father in the family business, Preksha was clear about her interests.
She believes that she should know the work she’s doing by heart and so in time, she moved to Bangkok, Thailand to learn the art of jewellery making. She believes that carefully chosen materials, creative design and hand-made construction can turn a piece of jewellery into a personal talisman, a timeless favourite.
After returning back to Jaipur, she started creating her own designs and founded Stone And Pearl, which deals in aesthetic and authentic gemstone jewellery in sterling silver that aim to elevate the everyday and the rare occasion. At the heart of her work is the sincere desire to imbue wearers with artfulness and audacity. Each piece is handcrafted either by Preksha or by brilliant karigars of Jaipur. Stone And Pearl create jewellery that is as varied as the personalities and lifestyles of the wearers. Inspired by nature, her jewellery is colourful, timeless and unique.
