Started by a mother-daughter duo in Whitefield, Rusingo is your answer to getting convenient supply of comfort food and snacks to your doorstep. Ingredients for the snacks and masalas are sourced from local, small scale grocers (kirana shops), and made using traditional Tamil methods and recipes. And the women who make it are definitely someone’s mami, or paati. Sumitra, the woman behind the brand, sometimes dabbles in the making with her mother, using family recipes. 

If you’re not a snacker, but just want some good ol’ rasam or idli chutney podi, they have that, as well as the crunchy additives like mixture, applam (rice and urad), and sabudana vadam to go with it! Available as powders (duh), it saves you from learning to make anything from scratch.
