This Cruelty-Free Brand's Hair Care Products Work Wonders For Curly Heads

I've had poker straight and very easy to manage hair all my life. The only thing I ever did for it was oiling twice a month, and I went through life without ever having a proper 'hair care routine.' As well as that served me for as long as it did, it also created this unrealistic habit of never having to think about hair care. Which as we all know, is all fine till the time you're 22. Once your body starts expecting you to put the effort in, it's game over.That is basically what happened when my hair decided it was done being straight (I accept it in all its forms, of course!), and became consistently more wavy every time I let it air dry naturally.Anyone with wavy and curly hair knows that frizz is part and parcel of this deal, and to that, I was a full newbie. My hair care routine so far was shampoo, conditioner (I use <a href="https://lbb.in/mumbai/the-ordinary-new-haircare-range-review/" target="_blank">The Ordinary's range</a>), hair serum, and mustard oil once or twice a month (blame my Punjabi genes, but mustard oil is the most underrated haircare product out there in the world) was simply not cutting it anymore. While my hair started drying in light waves, my baby hair sat atop my head, and the frizz was out of control. Exaggeration aside, it just wasn't how I was used to seeing my hair.What I quickly realised upon trying a bunch of curly hair products was that since my hair strands were thin and my hair density heavy, the mousses and gels were too thick and weighed down my hair. What I needed was something more serum or water-like. I chanced upon the Fix My Curls curl refresher very serendipitously, like a girl does these days–I was targeted by their ads on Instagram. The texture of the product and that it was for curly hair specifically spoke to me, although it wasn't technically made for the use case I was in the market for.The Fix My Curls Ready Set Refresh Spray is for those with curly hair who need to quickly refresh their curls. If it has only been one or two days since they did CGM, they can directly spray their hair with the product, but if it has been longer, it is advised to dampen the hair with water before putting the product. That, and scrunching, is all that is needed. For me, this is just an additional step on the days I wash my hair. After applying serum, I detangle my hair and spray on the product in sections. A little bit of scrunching on the bottom and I let it air dry (I do not have the time/energy to do plopping and other CGM activities). I cannot say that this product gave my waves the definition of my dreams, if that were true, I would also be inclined to believe that the world is perfect and we are not, in fact, in The Bad Place.&nbsp;Here's what the product actually did for me:1. Simplify my haircare routine by being just ONE added step to my existing routine, and not rehaul it completely.2. Gave me an affordable option to experiment and see whether or not it even works for my hair3. Gave my hair the support to retain enough moisture to remain frizz-free for about three or four days.Given the price of the product, these many plus points were enough for me to repurchase (I am currently on my second bottle). The scariest thing for me when researching wavy hair care routines was the amount of time and money people need to invest in their hair when it starts transitioning, and this one product successfully solved both.Rating: 9/10I held back since it doesn't do anything for definition, but for frizz, this is a no-brainer buy.
