A brand new home decor space, Uru India, located on 80 ft road at RMV 2nd stage, is open for business now. A cosy shop in a  basement that houses several quirky items to decorate your house. A fusion of both old and new designs are available at affordable prices. Many products are hand made, locally sourced, and made in India. 

Not only they are locally made, but most of these products are also eco-friendly as well. There are cute little terra-cotta painted pots, hand-painted wooden boxes, tea light holders, quirky metal wall decor, wooden photo frames etc. Also, there is a section of organic products and clothing to shop too. Most products are quite affordable and would make an excellent gift. If you want to ditch the concept of mass-produced items and want to decorate your place( or gift someone) with authentic artistry, I would recommend this place.

When we say quirky, we mean souvenir style gifts or decor essentials that will always remind them of home with symbols from our Indian experience like couples in ethnic wear and wildlife painted with Indian motifs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Think kitschy home and desk decor, quaint pieces for the walls like candle holders, wine stoppers, chai&nbsp;sets, dolls and salt and pepper shakers. Which means that each piece is crafted with the distinct style of the area it’s from. If you want something less kitschy, their sophisticated lotus candle holder made from iron is something you could go for.They’re open to personalising some of their products, especially for the festive season (and special events). If you have something in particular (and feasible) in mind, they ship across the country. Do let them know if you’re trying to “serenade” someone with the present, and they’ll add cute notes, include some flowers and love at the recipient’s door!
