| How to use: | All their premixes have an option to add sugar substitutes like jaggery and alternatives to milk, making them vegan friendly. To make White Velvet Cupcakes (Serving size = 7 to 8 cupcakes) you need : BawiWhisk premix (250gm), milk, butter and sugar (Or use Soya milk, sunflower oil and natural sugar for vegan alternatives). Take 250gms of the premix, mix with 2 ½ tbsp of sugar. Mix 1 & 2/3rd cup of milk with 6 ½ tbsp of soft or melted butter in a separate bowl. Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry, until smooth and scoop into your moulds. Pre-heat your oven, bake for 20 - 22 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius. Do not over bake. To make using an Idli maker: steam for 15 minutes as you would any idli batter. To make using a pressure cooker: place your mould onto a stand inside the cooker with 1” high water or no higher than the base of your mould. Close the lid without the whistle and ring, steam for 15-20 minutes on a low flame. To make Chocolate Velvet Cupcakes: follow the instructions above and add 2 ½ tbsp of cocoa powder to the above recipe. You can add Choco chip’s and nuts to your batter before cooking for added flavors. tbsp = tablespoon |
