When it comes to food, there are a plethora of options to pick from, as the cooking style varies from region to region. But somewhere along the way, a lot of us have lost touch with our roots.

Keeping this thought in mind, The Culture House, a new restaurant in SoBo, is using traditional recipes from India's ancient kitchens to reacquaint you with the regional staples you've bookmarked growing up.

What Makes It Awesome

The Culture House aims to bring back regional dishes from across the country with a touch of nostalgia, using local ingredients that have been used and mastered over generations.

Think of it like those age-old recipes that have been passed down in our families over the years. Sip on local delicacies like jaggery and kesar ice tea, piyush, damru paan, goti soda, rajwadi chai and a lot more.

When it comes to food, try their kachori daal dhoki, Surti locho, sasuma no handvo, tam tam khaman, khichu, daal bati churma, dapka kadhi and even the Calcutta paan biryani (we're drooling at the thought of all this food!)

To make the experience even more authentic, indulge in madhurmilan, jalebi rabdi, phirni or even moongdaal sheera

They have a lot of options and the place is a vegetarian joint, so take a trip down memory lane and soak in all those flavours!

Pro-Tip

They have a very interesting traditional Kutchi soup called Osaman, and even a Bajri soup that we'd never heard of till now. Don't miss them!
