What Makes It Awesome?

Tao 9 - A pleasant pan Asian surprise.

Oshiwara seems to be bustling with a lot of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines and Tao 9 happens to be one doing just amazing. Nice compact place. Easy to seat around 17-20 people. Service on the very attentive and quick side. Good options in terms of their Chinese, Thai, Burmese.

Started with Veg Tao9 Special Soup - Crystal clear with all finely chopped veggies inside. Good hit on the garlic. Came in piping hot. Feel good start to the meal.

Sriracha Paneer Bao - rectangular cottage cheese tossed with the sriracha gravy and fine slices of cabbage stuffed inside the bao bun. This was the highlight. Beautifully made.

Spicy vegetable dumpling - felt this was undercooked or not steamed correctly. Went a little helter-skelter. Even the fillings weren’t done well.

Kung Pao Paneer - Diced Cottage Cheese marinated in the Kung Pao gravy with vegetables.

For the mains went for the veg burnt garlic rice with Five-spice sauce (Paneer). Brownie bowl for desserts that had a brownie with a chocolate layer and a chocolate ice cream again topped with chocolate syrup was a nice end to this pan Asian meal.

Overall, dimsums momo lovers have a new landmark here. Definitely go in and check out their menu. They also have a dim sum festival going on so one can see that too.

Also, a big thumbs up to Sandeep for his smiley service.
