What Makes It Awesome?

Soy, a small restaurant in Pali Hill serves delish Asian food. They have an indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. The service is good and quite quick.

Coming to the food tried:
Butter Garlic Water chestnuts: I love the fact that these water chestnuts weren't coated in flour and fried but stir-fried with lots of garlic and butter. They were crunchy, spicy and delicious.

Ying Yang Tofu: Soft tofu cubes fried and tossed in a sweet Spicy sauce. They were flavorful and delicious.

Vegetable Gyoza: These were good. Not too chewy and not spicy either.

Tom yum soup: This could have been a little better. A huge bowl of broth with vegetables and flavoured with a little coconut milk and Tom yum paste.

Noodle Soup: This was good. My mom and son enjoyed this one. Vegetables and noodles in a flavourful broth.

Thai Vegetable Fried Rice: So so good. Loved it totally. Not loaded with vegetables and was really flavoursome.

Morning Glory: Wok tossed morning glory with lots of garlic and fermented soya beans. So so good. Loved it. My favourite from the entire meal. Will go back for this.

Gra Pao Vegetables: lots of chopped Vegetables in a delicious sauce.

Pad Thai: A well-balanced dish. Well cooked noodles, not too chewy. The right amount of tamarind and jaggery. So flavorful.

For dessert: I tried the water chestnuts, coconut milk and shaved ice dessert. Was really good. Sorry, I don't recollect the name. But was excellent.

Overall, a good experience.
