Apsara Ice Cream brings to you popular local flavours and street food of India in a completely new Avatar 'Ice Creams' would you imagine a pani puri ice cream? Oh yes, it's for real they do serve Pani puri ice cream and much more.
Located at linking road Bandra West, Apsara attracts a complete family crowd. This place is a takeaway joint with limited seating. They have a very extensive menu and it serves a great variety of natural organic flavours ranging from seasonal fruits , nuts , chocolates , sorbet, kulfi and even sugar-free ice creams. The service is quick and the staff is very helpful.
Coming to the Flavours this is what I tried:
1. Glory Guava:
Now if you are a fan of the Indian cart street Guava, then you will simply love this unique tropical red Guava ice cream with lovely spice mix of chilli and black salt sprinkled on top of the ice cream. Amazing! Must try this is a star ice cream of this brand.
2. Blueberry Cheese Cake :
Very velvety smooth blueberry creamy cheesecake flavour. Oh it was delicious. I do wish it had some blueberry pieces for bites as it was extremely smooth and divine. I loved it but could have some more magical surprise elements to it since its so yummy.
3. Belgian bites: M scoop Rs 95
Oh wow so good, you know what I love about chocolate ice creams? they just take you back in your childhood days where you would eat tons of chocolates non stop without any guilt. Rich dark chocolate with chips no guilt ice cream, YUM!
4. Funky Ferrero:
Premium quality taste, hazelnuts dipped in chocolate sauce and choco chips super delicious. Great taste again.
5. Ice cream of the Week - Chai Ice Cream
Unbelievable right? Who would think about converting Chai into Ice Cream? Well Apsara did and wow what a great attempt. Now the flavours were too strong for me. It is definitely something very interesting and new for people to try. It had Garam Masala Ginger tea flavour. They could make the Masala flavour a little more subtle as it was like a strong tea shot. Great Job!
Overall, great value for money as they are constantly innovating and I wish to taste some of the seasonal fruits soon.
