When we heard that Delhi’s favourite pizza brand is coming to the Maximum City, we were quite excited. Baking Bad is a brand that’s established itself as the capital’s favourite pizza brand, a #homegrown winner that has outsold the biggest international brands in the NCR region. Open until late in the night, this delivery-only brand has a loaded menu that’s gonna fix your pizza itch like nothing else.
The founders noticed a lack of good thin-crust pizzas when they started back in 2015 in the capital. None of us are unfamiliar to bad pizza—soggy crusts, bland tomato sauces, and veggies that aren’t cooked right. Sometimes it’s underseasoned, and sometimes it tastes like cardboard. Well, here’s a foolproof bet. Baking Bad does thin crust and Neapolitan-style pizzas with exotic toppings that are perfectly seasoned, utterly delicious, and not indecently priced. While the menu features all the classics, aka the Margherita, and the Pepperoni, they do offer exciting takes on them too! Think a Margherita with burrata, and a Double Pepperoni, or a Double Pepperoni with Hot Honey.
Their house specials include the Heisenberg, which has smoked pork pepperoni, bacon, chicken salami, smoked chicken, and fresh basil leaves, topped off with green chillie—loaded, delicious and spicy. Then there’s the Wild Mushroom with Truffle Oil pizza, which has a white sauce base, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, button mushrooms, caramelised onions, roasted garlic, enoki mushrooms, and finally, truffle oill, finished off with some parsley.
Yeah, Baking Bad doesn’t hold back with the toppings, at all. Speaking of toppings, you can get crazy experimental here by building your own pizza.
