KUAI Kitchen, Colaba
The most affordable restaurant under the Royal China group makes no compromise on quality, and the flavours are nothing short of incredible. Think of this as a somewhat inexpensive fine dining outlet, which serves brilliant dim sums and succulent sushi. Adding to that is the street art decor and bright lighting, and you will definitely not be able to resist KUAI Kitchen.
Must Try: Water chestnut and corn dimsum, sushi platter, pad Thai noodles, mushroom pot rice.

Royal China, Fort
Royal China’s primary expertise is in making appetizers, and the dim sums rule our orders when we come here. You must try the truffle dumpling as well as the seafood dumpling (both of which we cannot get enough of). Famous for its legendary chilli-infused oil, Royal China has a huge variety of dishes on their menu, and we suggest multiple visits to the restaurant to try them all.
Must Try: Hong Kong noodles, fried rice chicken, chocolate dome.

This one's a go-to for many when it comes to authentic Chinese cuisine. They are lauded for their quantity and quality of food, and a great selection of dim sums. The courteous staff is like a cherry on top, as they never fail to provide one a happy dining experience. May we suggest, do try their delicious noodles with a lamb gravy of your choice.
Must Try: Basil flavoured vegetable dumplings, Thai style chicken dumpling, pan fried Asian chili fish, mixed seafood in a hot pot.

One of the most popular fine dine restaurant in Mumbai, Hakkasan has an extensive selection of modern Cantonese cuisine. Delicate aromas, chic decor and subtle lighting, this joint is apt for a romantic dinner.

Safe to be ranked among one of the best Oriental restaurants in town, Jia’s food is so satisfyingly good that you would be compelled to go back to this again. One of the oldest and nicest Chinese restaurants in town, Gypsy serves spicy and nearly authentic oriental food. This restaurant is definitely no stranger to Mumbaikars.

Yauatcha, BKC
Yauatcha takes cues from core oriental cultures and provides an ever-charming culinary experience. True to what it claims to serve, Yauatcha has a wide range of dim sums and tea combinations – a traditional blend in China. It also has a mouthwatering menu of desserts, making Yauatcha one of the most loved Chinese restaurants in Mumbai.
Must Try: Braised tofu claypot, Pak choi, Asian green soup with tofu, braised pork belly.

Ling's Pavillion, Colaba
Now 75-years-old, Ling’s Pavilion is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Mumbai, combining heritage with its long-established line of delicacies. Located in the posh Colaba alleyway at just a minute’s walk from Café Mondegar, Ling’s has preserved its interior décor and the amiable staff for as long as we can remember.
Must Try: Salt and pepper prawns, honey glazed spare ribs, dim sum platter, Mongolian chicken.

Ming Yang, Bandra
A stone’s throw away from the famous ‘Mannat’ that houses the biggest film actor of this country is Ming Yang. This is reportedly SRK’s favourite dining spot. Not just him, but it’s also a favourite for Shahid Kapur, John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan. This five-star restaurant is known for its authentic Chinese delicacies, steamed fish and the dim sum platters.
Must Try: Mushroom dumplings, Lobster with snow peas, Singapore chilli prawn, crispy fried prawn.

Uncle's Kitchen, Malad
It may not be a fine dine, but ask anyone in Malad about Uncle's Kitchen and they'll guide you to it. Start with their signature chicken or prawn manchow soup. It's thick, not too spicy, has a lot of finely chopped veggies, and bamboo shoot in it. Everyone in the vicinity swears by it.
Must Try: Chicken fried won tons, prawn fried rice and noodles.

China Bistro, Chembur
They're mainly known for their buffets which are actually pretty amazing (both veg and non-veg), and the quantity is quite generous too! If you're dining here, don't forget to try the Lobster in Hot Basil which was delicious and succulent. They also have a branch in Thane.
Must Try: Fish coated in mustard sauce, and the chocolate fountain.
