Stephan Fernandes started off Shoe-U to give a makeover to the humble shoes and transform them into a piece of art. The idea came to him when he visited a shoe painting workshop in Goa, and got really intrigued by it. This, then, made him set up a Facebook page where he showcases his work.
He does some of the craziest and wackiest designs. From minions to Gotham to Batman or even Nordic Popeye, they do it all. And not just shoes, they also paint caps, ties, cups, glasses and more. These shoes, quite reasonable, are priced at INR 1,800 for the ones for kids and INR 2,000 in the adult size (the prices of the shoes increase depending on the urgency or the type of shoe).
