The uber popular Japanese chain, Daiso, has opened up at Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla. They’ve got over 6,000 stores worldwide, so there’s a good chance you might have spotted them during your travels. Not familiar with the brand? They’ve got home accessories, ceramics, kitchenware, toys, pet accessories, gardening items, and so, so much more.
We’re all familiar with brands of this kind, aren’t we? Well, this one’s a little bit different. While most Japanese brands focus on affordability, Daiso focuses a lot more on product longevity, Japanese design, and quality, while also being reasonably priced. We found a lot of products that we think are quite elegant, especially the ceramics and wooden items.
Their range of earthenware is quite affordable, and features designs that you wouldn’t normally spot. There’s a ton of very chic looking home accents, too, and that can also be said about their range of planters.
The cool thing about Daiso is that they’ve got you sorted for a lot of the boring grown-up stuff, too. Their kitchenware section is quite loaded! We spotted quality sieves, straining meshes, bamboo chopping boards, and even matcha kits. It’s a true-blue lifestyle store, and we’re sure your shopping basket is going to get filled right to the top when you’re here.
