What Makes It Awesome

At Daniel Patissier, a hidden gem sitting quietly inside Jim-me’s Kitchen in Bandra, we found the cheesecake of our dreams. And if you're ardent lover of cheesecakes, then this article is for you, my friend.

Daniel whips up a panorama of colourful macarons (moist and crumbly), with flavours that include peanut butter, Nutella, saffron and almonds, salted caramel, key lime pie and others. However, the one thing on the menu that takes the cake (literally) is the Kyoto Light Cheesecake. It’s love made edible, as they say. The texture is perfect, the flavouring perfectly balanced and the crust is moist. This is our cheesecake winner in Mumbai for now. It's priced at INR 590, and is totally worth every penny.

The almond Rochers also make for great nibbles. They also do cakes by the kilo with the Brooklyn cake at INR 943  (half kilo) and red velvet at INR 943 (half kilo). But if you specifically want them, do call them up to check if they have stock.

Daniel Patissier is literally just a kiosk inside Jim-me’s, but a well-maintained one. Blink and you almost miss it, but we won’t let you. Bookmark them for your sweet cravings, and thank us later, folks!

Pro-Tip

Their macarons are pretty good too. For INR 65, they're worth the trip and calories both.
