Dev's Momo Hut, Worli
We tried out the momos at this small joint in Worli and fell in love with them (extra marks for those tasty sauces). This momo stall opens at 7pm and is ready to shut shop by 9pm because the lip-smacking veg and non-veg momos here get over that fast. That’s right. These piping hot, deliciously made momos are served with schezwan sauce and an egg white sauce. We feel these are a must-try.
Shell Out: INR 70 for paneer momos, INR 90 for non veg momos
Samose Chole From Guru Kripa, Sion
Though it’s now a 41-year-old eatery, the owner of Guru Kripa would formerly sell the samosas and chole on a handcart. Go here and order crunchy, spicy, potato-filled triangles. One bite of these tasty samosas and you will know you haven’t had a better one anywhere in Mumbai. Team them with freshly made chole at this Sindhi joint, and the combination, for INR 37, is sure to blow your mind.

Pro-Tip
We also love the butter chicken paranthas by Oye Kiddan. The smoky flavour is really what sets them apart. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours, then roasted on the tandoor, and then cooked completely the North Indian way.
