In case you thought Chembur has nothing to do but the ocassional food joints scattered here and there, here’s a little reminder. The Fine Arts Society here is perfect for those who like to watch plays, musical performances or take any of the many classes here.

Go here when you need a dose of culture, a venue for a family event or need a place for vocational classes.
It has a large, almost 1300-seater auditorium where several dance and music performances are held. They've had several performances here, from Indian classical dances, ballet recitals, violin concerts, and more.

They have an academy section to the society as well, where students can go and learn Indian drama, music and dance.
