What Makes It Awesome?

Ice Cream Factory & Shahi Durbar is honestly the best ice cream place I've been to. Located on the main road of Mahakali Cave Road area, this café is fairly big. It's very easy to locate with the huge signboard and lots of other cafes right next to it. When you get inside, you immediately get a vibe which gets you back to your childhood.

The cafe is vibrant and colourful. With shades of yellow, blue, red, one cannot help but fall in love with this place. The servers here are nice and helpful. Somehow when you're inside, you just feel like becoming a child all over again. Posters of ice creams (all types), bicycle on the wall, who wouldn't be enticed.

When I went to give my order, I couldn't honestly decide what to order. There were SO MANY options. After looking at the numerous options, I decided to go for a salted caramel gelato. It was served to me in a small paper cup with a typical ice cream wooden spoon and a piece of a waffle cone. When I first tasted it, it seemed like normal caramel ice cream but you get a slight burst of salt in the end and that's what makes it brilliant. Then I ordered a roasted almond kulfi. I was honestly in for a surprise when I ordered it because I've never tasted such a flavour. But the malai in the kulfi with roasted almond is mouthwatering. But that wasn't enough, I ordered for a strawberry shake and a malai kulfi falooda. The strawberry shake was made out of fresh strawberries and no extra sugar. The milkshake was also served with fresh strawberries which is why it was fresh and didn't taste like an ice cream mixed in milk.
Next came up was the malai kulfi falooda. Oh boy, that was super heavy. I ordered the small size of the falooda but trust me even that seemed heavy. The malai kulfi was served on top of the falooda and inside as well. It was just so amazing. Being a foodie, obviously, I didn't want to stop at that. Next, I ordered fresh cream with fresh fruits. Strawberry, pineapple, apple, orange, musk melon, kiwi and watermelon are the fruits which were served. True to its name, it was fresh and I would've eaten another cup of fresh cream had I not been full. I had a huge temptation to eat every ice cream flavour that was available out there.

This place is ideal to go for families and kids. Fresh fruit flavours are best if you want to try out the gelato. A big thumbs up for this cafe.
