The white peacock is a new Indian and Goan food place in Khar.
They do have a lot of Vegetarian options in Indian while a few in Goan.
Do not miss their appetizers. They are excellent.
I tried three Vegetarian appetizers and all three were delicious.
Kalimiri Mushrooms - Juicy Succulent Spicy Stuffed mushrooms cooked to perfection. They were the bomb. Really flavorful and delicious.
Paneer Achari Tikka - Super soft melt in the mouth paneer very flavorful and Delicious.
Veg seekh kebab - perfectly done and delicious. Mung Dal added a nice crunch.
Veg Xacuti and Veg Vindaloo - both were good. Loved the Xacuti more. The Vindaloo was too spicy for me. Had it with roomali roti and steamed rice.
Gulab Jamun - really good. Not overly sweet was perfect. Really soft and delicious.
The Aam Panna was decent, could have been better! Sol kadhi was too spicy and sweet. I would have preferred a tangy one.
Overall good food and good service.
