Ice gola, imli, and peppermint are sure to hit your core with nostalgia for your childhood days.

As evening sets in, this place starts to liven up with gorgeous lights and folk music. You can dance to the tunes of ‘The Kabila’ music, socialise, or simply enjoy a theatre performance around a bonfire, all while gazing at a beautiful starry sky.

How To Reach: A pleasant drive of one hour and fifteen minutes, the best way to reach Monteria village from Mumbai is by car. As there is plenty of parking space available, you need not worry about your vehicle’s safety. If a private car is not an option, book an early morning bus or train to make the most of your day.

Things To Do: You might get tired but the list of things that you can explore at the Monteria village will not end. Embrace your roots by trying costume photo studio, khaat weaving, pottery, bamboo basket weaving, giant swing, and more. Also, do not forget to take a stroll to the cave tunnel and bamboo oxy-park, and visit the replica of the Lakshman Jhula.

Food At Monteria Village: From Italian to Chinese, you will find all the types of cuisines here. However, visiting an Indian village and trying foreign food seems odd. Instead, we recommend you relish the authentic flavours of their delicious North Indian thali. After your meal, go for their kadak chai and feel the exhaustion leaving your body.
