Al’s Tattoo Parlour in Bandra West is very well-known, but did you know that they also sell a lot of goodies as well? We went on a shopping tour of their new premises, as the legendary shop shifts one spot down.

Al’s Tattoo has always had the reputation of being one of the most sought-after tattoo places to go to. With various celebrities endorsing the place through their neat tattoos, it’s one of the first suggestions your brain throws at you when you think of getting inked. Other than the tattoos, only those who’ve visited the place {not just heard about the urban legend} know about the store.

In its new location, the ground floor has an organised framework now, with products neatly arranged in shelves. We found football merch wallets at INR 350 upward, NBA and football T-shirts at INR 650 upward, leather bags {starting INR 1,200}, cool helmets starting INR 1,500 and bongs starting at INR 350. The shop does boast of some unconventional stuff {we saw a warrior helmet upstairs}, which one may not find everywhere. So if you’re looking to drop by, might as well get that pending piercing too. They start at INR 350 along with the after care kit.

AJ, the face of the shop and tattoo studio says he curates all the stuff along with his team. They also run a salon called ‘Curl up & Dye’ next door. Check them out to get that punk look or dreads.
