Its history that Vada Pav has been ruling the food chart and Mumbaikars first choice for any time snacks. There is a place that redefined the Pav concept and created a niche for another recipe with different ingredients and stuffings. Pack-A-Pav, a small eatery has outlets in Pali Hill, Juhu & Kemps Corner.
Pack-A-Pav is a brainchild of Rohan Mangalorkar who envisioned comfort foods in the form of easy to eat snacks and integrated home cooked recipes by his mother into his venture. Being a delivery outlet at Juhu, online orders keep buzzing throughout the day and also patrons crowding the outlets. There is actually no place to sit but still a preferred eating point for many. Being next to Bar Stock Exchange is just trouble free tracking.
The menu is outright with multiple options for veg & non-veg. We started with Paneer & Cheese Pav - served with hung curd basil dip, red garlic paste and garnished with fried onions. Next on the plate was Mutton Shammi Pav - signature mutton Shammi served with a mildly smoked yoghurt dip and fried onion. The staff, Mr Dhyan recommended Tandoori Sriracha Chicken Pav - served with hung curd basil dip and fried onions. They also have platters (no pav) from which we had Herb Chicken Seekh with succulent soft Chicken Seekh that literally melts in your mouth. All the Pav's are baked in-house are served with colourful Fryums. To push those Pav down, we had Sparkling Mandarin & Mango Juice and Passion Fruit Juice.
if you want to binge on good food equally tasty and soul satiating at the same time, then do try Pack-A-Pav.
