What Makes It Awesome

What originally started out as a delivery service and cooking academy started by certifed plant-based chef Raveena Taurani is now a bright cafe in Khar, serving up a variety of wholesome and delicious meals made with fresh ingredients from farms around Maharashtra.

The menu here is focused on eating healthy, which means none of their dishes contains dairy, gluten or refined sugar. And get this, everything is made from scratch in their own kitchen. You won't find anything squeezed out of a bottle here. They also try to be as sustainable as possible, which means they compost their wet waste, and make the most of all the ingredients to minimise waste. You can dig into all-day breakfast like the Nobody Stacks Up To You, banana & blueberry pancakes or Wrap Battle, a chickpea wrap with roasted garlic and sundried tomato hummus, avocado, stir-fried mushrooms and spinach. Of course, there are small plates too and hearty mains like the Eye of the Thai-Ger, pad thai in peanut butter sauce with organic veggies and the Fala-Fill, a Lebanese-style bowl with a cauliflower steak, Moudardara, beetroot and quinoa falafel, roasted red pepper hummus.

Drinks include filling smoothies like the Cacao Latte with banana, raw cacao, avocado, dates, almond milk and espresso powder. Lighter sips like the You’re The Zest, mint and ginger lemonade will leave you refreshed. Of course, there's the hot drinks too with dairy alternatives. And desserts galore: Raw Cacao and Walnut Brownie with Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream; Cacao & Truffle Zest Cookie, Dark Chocolate Truffle; Black Sesame Ice Cream!

If you're looking to switch to a plant-based diet (hello climate change) or just have dietary restrictions like lactose intolerance, or even just want to eat healthier, drop in for a meal here.
