Check Out Prarthana Near Elphinstone Station For Hearty North Indian Grub

Prarthana is a small food joint which serves north Indian, south Indian, Chinese and fast food. It is located near Elphinstone road station, and is very famous among the office-goers of that area.

Since Elphinstone road is an area full of offices, the office-going crowd usually goes here for a pocket friendly lunch.

The ambience is like that of an old south Indian canteen, but don’t let the low-key interiors fool you. This place serves some mouth watering food at very reasonable prices, and the quantity of food is also really good.

From steamed idlis to Hyderabadi biryani, this place is the answer to all your food cravings. The palak paneer, dal khichdi, paneer butter masala and the biryani are some of my favourite food items from the menu.

They have a standard line-up of cold drinks and water.

Thirty people can easy sit in this restaurant. I would suggest to go for an early or late lunch since this place is packed during lunch hours and one might have to wait to get a seat.
