Sandy's Den is a very comfortable and cosy place located in Chembur. Sandy's den is famous for Chef Saif who has done a really wonderful job.
First, we had 2 Cocktails:
1. Saif in die-hard cocktail and
2. Feel like having it.
Both of them were really very nice. They had vodka in it with some other stuff. They were perfect and soothing. Both of them were special in their way.
Then for starters, we had:
Carbon Chicken Nachos: they were black coloured Nachos and they were very nice and crispy. The Nachos were surrounding the bowl, there were very tasty chunks of chicken. And at the bottom of the bowl, there was a cheesy dip that made the whole dish delightful.
Next,
Pataya Fish: It was also very nice. Something we had never tried before. Fish with a very different and exotic flavoured sauce. It also had a pinch of coconutty flavour to it. It was very nice.
For the main course we had:
Chicken Tikka Masala Enchilada: This was a very special dish. It was mind-blowing. Chicken tikka with red gravy and it was wrapped in an omelette. It was very nice. Medium spicy but very tasty. That was the best thing I ever tried.
To end the meal, we had desserts ofcourse:
Honey Fried Noodles with Vanilla ice cream and sesame seeds: The sizzling brownie was very nice and vanilla ice cream and the poured chocolate sauce was super.
Sizzling brownie with Vanilla ice cream: The honey fried noodles were also very good and too sweet. If You love sweet dishes you should try this dish out for sure without fail.
All in all this place is very nice and we enjoyed visiting this place and the staff was also very kind and helpful. Do visit this place to enjoy a meal or for a drink with your family and friends.
