If binge drinking and brunches are your things, Aloha is the place to be. Their extensive menu, prompt service and tropical setup will surely give you Hawaiian vibes.
Aesthetics - The cafe is situated on the JVPD Scheme and is located close to the main road. The entire interior is in the hues of pink, greens and white which gives it a chic vibe. The seating is comfortably spacious.
Hospitality - Being a relatively new cafe, their promptness and understanding of the menu are praiseworthy. You can rely on the hosts to suggest the best dishes from the menu. From American to continental, they've got it all.
Food - The food, in particular, was well made and each flavour had a distinct essence in every dish. Being a vegetarian, I did not face any problems in picking out the best dishes for myself.
We tried out:
* Mac n cheese: the classic can never go wrong
* Tomato & Mozzarella Bruchetta: the bruschetta was the amazingly crispy and perfect entree
* Minestrone: Loaded with veggies with a spicy slurry
* Roasted onion, Jalapeño & goat cheese tart: A unique blend of spice with roasted onion that makes it a flavorful side
* Polenta with vegetable stew: A delicious yet simple and cosy filling dish with creamy and buttery polenta
* Four cheese pizza: Creamy texture with a crunchy crust
* Caesar Salad
Desserts,
* Hazelnut waffle - The waffles were just the right amount of soft and crunchy served alongside fresh fruits topped with maple syrup.
* Champagne cheesecake - It had a hint of champagne and the after taste was amazing
* Dark chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream - A firm base with a free-standing top layer that invites you to dig directly in it.
