Founded by Shivani Awasty in 2016, her's is a luxury homegrown couture brand that features super contemporary designs with really intricate embellishments. Having worked with the House of John Galliano in Paris, and Marchesa in New York, Shivani is able to bring design sensibilities that are high-fashion and have a fresh-off-the-runway feel to them.
The clothing pieces are truly dramatic, and have an unapologetic vibe to them. There’s a tactile beauty to either the sequins and embroidered jewels on each garment, or the frills that are big and out-there. These clothes are quite indulgent, and are for occasions when you want the spotlight on you and you alone.
This is very much the brand to shop from when you’re the bride du jour, and want to wear a dress that’s striking, and shows off your personality—think a super sculpted cocktail gown, or a fun mini dress that sparkles. The range covers bright tones like bright red and turquoise, but has tons of options in classic colours too. There’s many options featuring luxurious prints and elements like capes, trails, and side drapes.
