I'm just going to say it: there are few places that do European comfort fare better than SHD. I've left satiated my need for a good burger, pizza, pasta or wholesome healthy meal if I'm being good with their house specials more times than I can count. And as an avid Bandra explorer, I'm excited to see what the new SHD brings to the neighbourhood.
Occupying a two-story house in Bandra, inspired by that of a Portuguese-era granny's home, the space is inviting, with each floor having its own character. Expect big bay windows that let in plenty of natural light, inspired-artwork adorned walls and cozy comfortable seating where you can enjoy a relaxed meal with the people you love.
I'm most excited by the fact that their menu caters to a host of dietary needs: you'll find vegan, keto, and GF options along with signature breakfasts, handmade pasta, thin-crust pizzas and more. There's even an in-house charcuterie where they smoke their own house-cured meats and sausages (an addition we're excited to try!). There's of course, the usual smoothies, juices, salads and more.
If you can't live without dessert, you won't want to miss out on their artisanal ice-creams that change with the season. Mahabaleshwar Strawberry or Pecan Butter, anyone?
