You can also take local trains from Mumbai that travel to Lonavala and then a rickshaw from the station to the homestay. The stay has 2 lake view rooms; one is called the Palette Room (with 4 beds and 2 extra mattresses) and the other one is called the Medley Room (with 2 beds and one floor mattress). They also have an artist's cottage that's ideal for two guests. You can just read a book and sip on coffee looking at the lake reflecting the moonlight from your room. Isn’t that dreamy?
