What Makes It Awesome

We know that Lonavala is more than often frequented by a lot of tourists and it’s very hard to find solitude there. But we have found a homestay that is nestled in a forest overlooking a gorgeous lake and has a waterfall next to it. There’s nothing around it Sounds too good to be true? Well, have a look.

82 kilometres away from Mumbai, the place is an easy drive away and will take you about 1 hour 45 minutes to reach via car if you take the Bengaluru Mumbai Highway. You can also take local trains from Mumbai that travel to Lonavala and then a rickshaw from the station to the homestay. The stay has 2 lake view rooms; one is called the Palette Room (with 4 beds and 2 extra mattresses) and the other one is called the Medley Room (with 2 beds and one floor mattress). They also have an artist's cottage that's ideal for two guests. You can just read a book and sip on coffee looking at the lake reflecting the moonlight from your room. Isn’t that dreamy?

Apart from that, the stay is close to malls, tourist spots & Duke’s Nose trek. The villa has a natural waterfall flowing underneath the home and it is a sight during the monsoons. From fireflies raiding the place to yellow flower beds across the open fields, each season lends different kind of charm to the landscape of this villa.

The villa also has a bar deck and open spa right next to the waterfall. Just imagine getting a relaxing massage while listening to the flowing water. Prices start around INR 6,200
