While we’re into 2022 already, let’s not forget to stay sustainable, even when it comes to decor. Infact, sustainable decor is going to be a huge home interior theme this year. If you’re a conscious consumer, we’re here to put you in touch with home decor stores in the city that believe in giving back to the environment.

Bookmark these sustainable home decor brands that offer beautiful artisan-made products for you to curate a home that is chic yet ethical!

Think Earth, Kandivali

Think Earth is an initiative to create an ecosystem that is sustainable & zero waste. Our focus is to provide eco-friendly solutions, to curb plastic pollution. They’ve got printed jar wall hangers that have a bohemian vibe, natural wooden round serving trays, wooden cutlery, cheese boards, and so much more. The wall hangers are our favourite though, as we can totally imagine stationing tiny plants on them and grace our living room’s wall!

P.S: If you’re too lazy to head all the way to Kandivali and shop, you can check out their products on Shop on LBB too!

EcoHUB, Borivali

This home decor store’s name is self-explanatory, but we’ll break down its wonderful offerings for you. Located in Borivali, this tiny store champions storage containers, pen stands, picnic baskets, flower vases, trays, lamps, and so much more. The best part? All decor and utility products here are made out of bamboo. We’re also crushing over their bamboo cutlery- the jug and glasses set is our favourite!

P.S: EcoHUB is also a collection centre for plastic and e-waste. Oh also, do not forget to say hello to their house doggo!

Good Earth, Multiple Outlets

Walking into a Good Earth is like setting up yourself for a trap but you go back a happy hoarder of all things beautiful. This is one of our favorite decor stores for picking up pieces that add color to our house. Based out of Juhu, Lower Parel and Colaba, they have some of the swankiest decor ranging from vases to ivory fine bone china with florals and more. With its earthy and quirky vibe, Good Earth is best known for upholstery, linens and cushions. They play a lot with prints and fabrics too!

From hand-painted coasters made of paper mache, to discarded boxes upcycled into beautiful storage boxes, you have a variety of options to choose from. Gramin Arts, Jogeshwari

Now this one’s an oldie, but a true goldie. Gramin Arts is a small establishment with no catalogs or a strategically-organized shelf space. But it is an oasis of good art pieces. They sell copies of Raja Ravi Verma’s art, brass statues, carved wooden pieces, vintage windows and a lot more. We particularly loved the Buddha statue, a dancer head statue, and a Ganesha-inspired brass bell here. Most of their decor pieces here are made of wood, so be rest assured that whatever you buy is going to be sustainable!

P.S: This is a part of the Oshiwara furniture market stretch. Don’t forget to bargain when buying home decor from here.

Pro-Tip!

If you’re ever in Navi Mumbai, and want to check out a huge sustainable multi designer store, walk into URU. They’re mainly known for their apparel and jewelry, but our favorite picks from their small home decor section are  the candle jars, jute baskets, and lanterns
