Wholesome Paya soup slow cooked which so much love, that even the marrow in the trotter gets dissolved in the broth. Every spoonful of it is well-rounded in taste and leaves you warm and comforted. The Indo-Chinese starters are pretty good too and we so enjoyed the Roast Chicken Chilly and Chicken 65
This Soup At Borivali's Hotel Ashirwad Is Truly Payalicious!
What Makes It Awesome
What Could Be Better?
The worn out menu cards make one reach for the sanitizer. Adding a few more beverages would be great, as right now your choice is limited to aerated drinks and tea/coffee.
What's My Pro Tip?
Hotel Ashirwad has a sparse, no-nonsense ambiance. The servers are ever helpful and always have a smile for a smile. They also have some great recommendations and our next focus along with the Paya soup will be the highly talked about Keema Ghotala. It's a small little place, nestled on a very bustling junction. Using public transport is preferred!
Anything Else?
If the taste is what you're after this place is for you. Apart from its signature Paya soup, they also have some of the best Indo-Chinese food in this part of the city. There's also quality South Indian, Moghlai, and seafood available here, PLUS Tandoori which is available 7pm onwards.
