What Makes It Awesome?

The financial capital of Mumbai - BKC has adorned another diamond - Punjab Grill making it the tower of power.

Dal makhani, lassi and butter chicken seems like a Punjabi food cliché and at times over-hyped, but the actual 'Pind Di Khusboo' lies in the roots of the North-West frontier. Punjab Grill is an epitome of authentic North Indian delicacies clubbed with splendid offerings, richness in taste, and royalty in their hospitality.

Established in 2001 by Lite Bite Food Pvt Ltd, Punjab Grill augmented in multiple locations creating a niche for themselves as an Indian elite dining restaurant.

Wondering how the BKC outlet looks like? From the daredevil lion logo embossed on the porcelain tiles at the entrance to the widespread king sized buffet, every element is a remarkable one. One restaurant that is devoid of any Punjabi theme, but still a self-proclaimed dining cult. With cushions and chairs that compliment the decorated white tables, the ambience is eye-striking with chandeliers shimmering in golden hues, earthy marble floors, and frames of freedom fighters including Maharani Jind Kaur.

The restaurant has a multi-faceted menu pleasing for everyone including vegetarians and non-vegetarians. From brunch to dinner, you can be here anytime for any occasion.

- Sunday Brunch – never-ending sumptuous Indian food spread with chilled cocktails, live music, and breezy afternoon.

- Mammoth Buffet – permanent buffet setting with a king-size extend to satiate your cravings for authentic Indian food.

- Millet Menu – healthy, highly nutritious, naturally gluten-free, and an alkaline rich menu consisting of ancient grains and superfoods like jowar, puffed bajra, quinoa etc.

Do try some of their refreshing cocktails and mocktails from the in-house bar that stands tall fulfilling your requests.

Start with Achari Santra made up of lemon pickle, orange, mint, and fizz. It’s not the ordinary drink that you sip off at once, but something that you want to drink slowly to relish every sip of it. Move on to another thirst quencher drink called Kheera With Jeera with cucumber, cumin, mint, lime, black salt, and fizz. This one also acts as a detoxifying tonic.

For starters, we were convinced with Kebab Platter (four types) – Non-Vegetarian with ambarsari macchi pakode, murgh malai tikka, tandoori jhinga, and mutton seekh kebab. If this doesn’t suffice you, Desi Tandoori Murgh with organic chicken legs and breast on the bone marinade with traditional red chilli will make you full.

Generally, the main course is too much, so try Dhaniya Mirch Da Kukkad prepared in homestyle chicken gravy, coriander green chilli and ginger garlic served with zafrani naan and missi roti.

You cannot leave your table until to try three variants of gulab jamun – white chocolate, hint of Nutella, and a smidge of honey. Their saffron flavoured, milky, and spongy rasmalai is a sweet delight.

After visiting Punjab Grill, I can see them surpassing their own standards retaining the legacy. So head straight to Punjab Grill for a memorable experience.
