Head's up foodies, there's a new address in town for all things gourmet. Three 60 Gourmet's opened up in Bandra, and it's looking like pretty good news for all the budding cooks, inveterate snackers, and health enthusiasts out there.
Now, yes, we know it may not seem like those descriptions should fit in a sentence, but here's why it does: Three60 has a little bit of everything from good old indulgences like buttery cookies from the UK to chocolates from Paul & Mike and Mason & Co, melt-in-the-mouth Medjool dates from Israel and artisanal cheese from Darima Farms. Plus, I don't know about you, but as someone who loves to experiment in the kitchen, I'm always looking for a way to source ingredients to try new dishes - think tapioca flour to make healthier dimsums, healthy, no-maida pastas made with beetroot, spinach and more, DIY Sushi kits complete with sushi rice, vinegar, ginger pickle, wasabi paste, light soya and rolling mat, a decent array of Ramen noodles, vegan kimchi and saurkraut from Mavi's Kombucha and more. Indie brands find a spot on their shelves and you'll find brands like Slurrp Farms, Last Forest and Udhyan Teas stocked up here. Healthy folks, you'll get your organic staples from pulses, rice, millet flour, superfoods and more here as well.
And if you've heard of Pune's Sorted Deli, you'll be thrilled to know that they stock their complete range of products in store from fresh-baked breads to wraps, frozen goodies, deli ingredients and baking ingredients too!
What sets Three60 apart in my book is the careful curation that goes into choosing what hits the shelves here. It's about consciously choosing to work with independent brands, finding quality products and creating a space that's driven by a sense of community.
