What Makes It Awesome?

IDLish, Idli Dosa Relish, is located in Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West, which is known for its food galore especially for Vegetarians.
It has recently opened and offers a wide variety of South Indian (Tamilian cuisine) Dishes with a Twist. They have skillfully combined South Indian flavours with International Cuisines and brought an amazing amalgamation of Dishes.

IDLish is a small joint with seating for about 15-20 people. With a nice quirky colourful ambience which goes with their theme, the place itself is very vibrant and appealing. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. IDLish also prides itself on its hygiene. Spick and Span kitchens and Clean Interiors is what they believe in.

IDLish believes in preserving the traditional method of preparation of authentic dishes infused with refreshing twists. They use the traditional method of fermenting the batter to hand making their filter coffee.
Every dish is curated carefully with a lot of innovations, keeping in mind new trends without compromising the quality of food. They have put a lot of thought into curating their menu which caters to all age groups.

The service was also really good. They recommended their best sellers and explained the menu very nicely.

Food:

African Piri Piri Idli Veggies and Sauce: 3.5/5
Soft mini Idlies mixed nicely in Piri Piri Sauce. Served with assorted chutneys.

Lava Cheese Dosa: 4.5/5
Crispy Dosa filled with masala and cheese oozing out of it. We recommend this!

Tacos Dosa: 4/5
Dosa shaped like tacos and filled with amazing fresh veggies and cheese. Indeed a very innovative fusion.

Risotto Bowl Rice: 3.5/5
Perfectly cooked rice with olives, bell peppers and cheese.

Idli Chaat: 3/5
Mini idlis topped with curd, mint chutney and sprinkled with pomegranate and Sev. It is a perfect Street South Indian dish.

Chettnadu Masala Stuffed Paniyaram: 5/5
Small stuffed Paniyarams with exotic fillings. We would definitely recommend this if you like spicy flavours.

Uthappam Pizza: 5/5
Thin crispy uttapam which can be easily mistaken as pizza, topped with freshly chopped veggies and melted cheese. This is a really good replacement for the usual maida based pizzas.

Fiery Cottage Cheese Quesadilla: 4.5/5
We were sceptical about trying this because we never knew this combination would taste so good. Dosa filled with a mix of cottage cheese and bell peppers with sauces.

Beverages:

Filter Kapi: 5/5
One of the best filter coffee we have ever had. Very authentic. Absolutely loved it.

Panakam Cocktail Drink: 3.5/5
A traditional South Indian Drink which is usually served in the temples in South. It has ginger, pepper and lemon and on the sweeter side.

We would definitely recommend everyone to try this place for some amazing twists in South Indian cuisine and also for their Filter Kapi!
