Co-working spaces are the solution to the problems of emerging companies, and how! Good environment, reduced expenditure and well, an overall sense of unity. The perfect answer to a good working environment and of course, the oh-so-important concept of networking, co-working spaces are the new in-thing, and loads of cool ones are popping up all over the city. We’ve listed out a few that you can check out, if you’re a part of an emerging organisation and want to have the experience.

WeWork

Located in the city’s new cosmopolitan district, BKC, this Mumbai office space offers 16 full floors to Mumbai’s professionals, designed with an international standard of business in mind. From private offices to conference rooms they have it all sorted for you. Best part? Evenings roll into an equally exciting nightlife, with favourites like the Bar Stock Exchange and Yauatcha nearby, plus regular flea markets, food festivals, marathons, and exhibitions. So, your Friday night plans are sorted! 

Membership Plans: Prices for a hot desk start at INR 18,900 per month; the prices for dedicated desks start at INR 26,300  per month. 

Ministry Of New

One of the most beautiful co-working spaces in South Bombay, Ministry Of New is located in Fort, and having worked there ourselves, we still look back and reminisce about the classy design and the décor of the space. Huge, well-lit, airy, homely and well furnished–what else could one possibly need?

Membership Plans: Ministry Of New charges INR 11,000 for 10 days and their monthly plan is for INR 22,000. Want to use their services just for a day or just an hour? That too is possible. It's INR 1500 per day and INR 450 per hour. These rates are exclusive of taxes. 

Harkat Studios

Located in Versova, Harkat Studios is a beautifully-designed art studio which also provides co-working space to freelancers simply looking for a quiet and peaceful place to work at. The studio is well-decorated, and is tastefully designed with antique furniture, greenery, library and of course, the game-changer, unlimited tea and coffee! Do look out for the friendly office-attendant, Ramu, to help you at every stage.

Membership Plans: Harkat charges INR 300 a day, but if you’re securing a 10-day pass, you get one day free! Monthly charges amount to INR 7,500.

Workamp Spaces

WorkAmp is a gorgeous working space in Thane, which includes all kinds of cool things such as a stocked-up cafeteria, regular gigs, cocooned desks and chairs for the ones looking for a private space and even indoor games. And we haven’t yet mentioned the coolest part yet. They have a 2,000 sq. ft. hammock and even an amphitheatre with tons of books to enhance the experience.

Membership Plans: WorkAmp charges INR 7,000 per seat per cabin as monthly charges.

Workbay

Located in a bungalow in a quiet lane in Santacruz (another location in Bandra West), Workbay provides a peaceful co-working space with fast WiFi and unlimited coffee. The décor is clean, organised and calming. The windows are large, the rooms airy and the atmosphere, peaceful. There are beverages, loads of comfortable cushions and regularly placed desks, and if you want a break, there’s another break room for you to chill in. 

Membership Plans: Workbay charges INR 1000 (inclusive of taxes)for a day and INR 18,000 for a month for the monthly  package if you want a dedicated desk.

Social Offline

With multiple outlets across the city, Social is the torch-bearer of the co-working space movement. The place has great vibes, good food, and honestly what more can you ask for? 

Membership Plans: They offer you membership at INR 4,500 a month that is completely refundable against food and drinks. If that doesn’t motivate you to work, what will?

CoWrks

CoWrks has a lot of space that’s full of amazing amenities! The best bit? It’s located in Century Mills, which means that it’s just across Kamala Mills, that houses some of the city’s finest restaurants, bars and lounges. A global working experience with state-of-the-art social infrastructure and equipped with amenities like a spacious yoga and dance studio, a fully-equipped gym, a banquet hall and even a unique F&B experience.
