In association with KRUNK the biggest roster and promoter of bass music artists in India, Bassick Sense is now in it's twelth edition and will take place across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. -------------------------- About Paper Queen -------------------------- Paper Queen maybe new to the scene, but she's aiming for the big stage & is eager to prove herself as one of the brightest new talents to come out of the thriving Indian music scene. Mentored by the legendary DJ Uri (UK), she took an intensive 6 month DJ course learning to be very versatile in the art of DJ'ing and be able to play comfortably on Vinyls, CD's & Controllers. Under his guidance she has embraced the Old Skool way of being a DJ and has the knack of being able to play the right track for the right occasion. A unique blend of Hip Hop Influenced Trap, Future Bass & Hard­Style to the cooler side of EDM, a signature P aper Queen D J set has the right selection of music to receive mass appeal yet retain a certain street credibility. -------------------------- About Niki -------------------------- Born and brought up in Bombay, the 24 year old music enthusiast figured out her affinity for bass music during her college years. Music being a significant part of her experience eventually led to channelizing her love and interest in the form of hip hop, DnB, trap and bass oriented music. High on energy and unconventional beats, she’s sure to make your adrenaline levels kickin’ all night. Focusing mainly on bass and foot thumping tunes, she gradually plans to venture into production and hopes to create an exhilarating experience for her audience. Behind her seemingly wild and zany personality lies a great sense of dedication and her inimitable approach to music. She has played every form of electronic music in the past, and now she’s known to explore the underground bass music where only a few venture. An immensely experienced artist as she is, Smokey manages to use fascinating music to sustain drama and intensity during the performances. Her spirit of dedication towards the music has led her to get great appreciation on her underground vibes from her fellow DJ / Producers such as Medival Punditz, Nucleya, Amit (UK), EZ Rizer, Oceantied, PLO (Something Big) and many more she’s shared the stage with across various clubs and festivals in her journey so far. She’s also been supported by KRUNK in their exclusive ‘#‎StrictlyDrumNBass‬ Nights’ that connects to the soul of the underground bass sounds, not to forget she was also supported by MTV Indies. Devoted to the deep, dark and minimal vibes from the underground, and intrigued by the musical mix of sounds from the love of World Music through Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Experimental Trap and Bass Music, Smokey began to pick up a few instruments herself and started to produce. A versatile artist who seamlessly conquers anything she sets her mind to is constantly pushing boundaries. Listed as one of Indias Top Photographers, her passion for the arts and dance led to study and perform as an Aerialist & Acrobat and now her love for music has brought her to performing as a DJ. A Social Influencer of our time, she is definitely someone to reckon with! Having been raised in the 80's and 90's in the Middle east and Australia her biggest music influences have come from Rap, Hip Hop and Techno. An aspiring musician Anushka’s first encounter with music production was back in 2012. With a large appetite for experimental sounds, DJ’ing became a way for her to share her love for music. In early 2015 Anushka got together with friend Smita (aka Agent) and started ANU$HKA + AGENT and In less than a year with the success of their popular Supafly nights, the two were seen performing at festivals such as VH1 Supersonic & Bass Camp, When Mountains Call and regularly gigging at venues such as Summerhouse Cafe, Bonobo, High Spirits, Social, AntiSocial, Hype and Playboy. Anushka played her first solo international gig on The Cheeky Iguana at the Burning Man Festival 2015 and recently played Ankytrixx's Ctrl Alt Dance Festival at Hilltop Goa. Never confined to one genre, her DJ sets span over all kinds of bass heavy genres such as trap, breaks and DnB with a touch of dark techno and electronica.
