When’s the last time you went to a jazz club and were enthralled by those groovy beats, slick bass lines, guitar tones or even piano? Time to relive the swing era and make your way to modern-day, improvised jazz jam sessions. Culture Shoq is reviving jazz in Mumbai with periodic jazz nights called the Fat Cats Jazz Club at The Cuckoo Club. Mrs. Ippi (Ipshita Roy) is a performing artist, who has been performing in India since the past 7 years. She started her professional career with her band “Big Bang Blues,”and now has moved on to create her own solo identity as “Mrs.Ippi” which includes repertoire inspired by traditional Blues, Soul and Rnb. Her band titled ‘Mrs.Ippi Madhouse’, her band, features session musicians from Delhi and Mumbai.
