It's Raining Flamingoes: Welcome The Birds Of The Season With This Nature Trail And Photowalk

What's Happening

Wandering Souls, organisers of offbeat experiences like midnight cycling and river rafting, is coming up with a nature trail and photowalk for you. And this isn't an ordinary one.

If you sign up for this, you get to witness the rare species of Flamingo birds, namely, the Greater and the Lesser Flamingo.

The photowalk starts at 8 AM at the Talawe or Chanakya Wetlands, located in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. You will have experts in the field of photography, nature and birding, to cater to all your queries during the walk. Right from birding enthu-cutlets, to amateur or expert photographers, or anyone who wants a new experience, this event is open to everybody.

And guess what? You don't need to pay a single penny for being a part of this trail. Fascinating, isn't it? Now head to the registration button to welcome India's most awaited migratory birds!

How's The Venue

Located in the Nerul district of Navi Mumbai, Talawe and Chanakya Wetlands are home to mangrove forests, with rich biodiversity and over 80 species of different kinds of birds and insects. Your assembly point is the Talawe Lake.

Make A Note

The event is for free, and it is worth your time, because thanks to extinction, it is very rare to spot flamingoes in the country!

P.S: Make sure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the event.
