You assemble near the Gundecha Gardens Gate in Gas Co Lane (Lalbaug) and from there, you head to the temple of the Buffalo God. The other highlights of this walk are visiting a Muslim shrine that is managed by Hindu caretakers (this diversity wins our heart), a Parsi Baug that has an exclusive Widow's Chawl, story of the 'Indian Titanic', masala market and Chiwda Gully, an Agiary, the oldest Dargah in Mumbai, and something called the Maharashtrian 'Moulin Rouge' (attend the walk to know what that is.)
This two and a half hour walk, for only INR 699, promises to give you the real slice of one of the oldest areas in the city, and you really shouldn't miss out on this.
