We all remember our childhood - full of simple pleasures, where learning and play were done simultaneously and life was wonderful. Childhood is definitely a celebration, and experiencing a smarter way to play is something that most parents are looking out for. PepPlay is one brand we've come across that aims to sell toys that build a deep connection between every child and parent but are, at the same time, entertaining and environmentally-conscious.
Minali Agarwal, the founder, is a mother of a 5-year-old and is inspired by her little tot to achieve more out of life. This is one of the biggest reasons for both her and her husband to start PepPlay in 2020.
PepPlay also encourages holistic learning in children by stimulating their self-expression, which, according to the founder, plays a huge role in laying the foundations of formal education.
When we checked out the website, we were pleasantly surprised to see four sections- art (supplies, colour & drawing), craft, DIY and puzzles. We are particularly fond of their activity mats (doodle sheets) where you get the chance to colour unique designs and familiar flora and fauna. Erm, they also have a finger paint set, and I know that is is for children, but there is a tiny bit of me that's hollering to pick this up for myself. From liquid chalk markers to mosaic stickers, fossil excavation sets to DIY markers, thematic floor puzzles to colouring and drawing books - there is so much that this young brand has to offer.
When asked about the unique brand name, Minali mentioned how they wanted to create a brand that inspired creativity in kids, and they wanted their brand name and logo to reflect this same ethos. PepPlay stands for peppy kids playing.
