As of you needed any more reason to be at your favourite Caribbean party in the city! *ABOUT OriginalTomawok* After 2 street albums, "Lyric'Hall" in 2007 and "Clash pas l'apache" in 2011, TOMAWOK released his first album in November 2012: "Wakatanka" 18 tracks in reggae, raggamuffin, dancehall, ska, dub .. with international favorites such as Jamaican Yellowman, Perfect, Tony Scott ... or Guinean Takana Zion. The album is self-produced (Apache prod) and was recorded at Le Mans (@ Irie Ites Studio) by Judi.K and some in Kingston and Bamako. Tomawok is the art of mixing raggamuffin, fast style, good vibes and conscious lyrics, in French, in Español, with a hint of yardie and a touch of Bambara! Indian sauce of course! In March 2011 he released his first vinyl with Perfect en Face A on the record label Redstrike. 500 ex sold all over the world in a few weeks. After more than 750 concerts in France, Spain, Switzerland, Mali, Portugal, Germany, Ivory Coast ... he returned to defend his new album on stage during the "Wakatanka tour" 2013. *ABOUT MAJOR C* 'Chandrashekar Kunder', your friendly-rotund DJ has been "around" spinning the hottest tunes on the coolest decks before kids began exchanging music on cassettes. One of Mumbai's premier DJ's and the main man behind the acclaimed Hip-Hop act " Bombay Bassment ", 'MAJOR C' has been conceived by the system way before anyone even knew the 'scene'. Fresh off the block with his foray on the world stage with his band; ‘Major C’ has recently returned from ‘Glastonbury’ having performed at the illustrious music festival along with the likes of Coldplay, Adele, LCD Sound system, Congo Natty, Protoject to name a few. But 'Major C' is no rookie with the big guns, having opened and shared stage with 'Snoop Dogg', yes the original gangsta daddy of 'hip-hop&', in the year 2013 and also Shared stage with the legendary reggae band ”The Wailers” in the year 2015. Apart from setting the stage alight with Afro Caribbean beats, ‘Major C’ has just composed the entire background score for a web-series, named ‘Lost & Found’ directed by the acclaimed ‘Kaizad Gustad’ in their debut venture together.
