When we hear anyone mention DHARAVI all that comes to your mind is Asia's largest area but don't forget there are always two sides to the same coin.
This is a nature park where I went for a nature walk event and came across so many different species of butterflies, birds and plants. It was previously a dump yard and now it's green space.
The entry fee to this park is a minimal of 20 INR and they have many workshops and events going on all the time. Few of them are even free. To stay updated you can even follow them on Instagram

One can even buy plants at the cheapest rates. They also make you aware of the importance of recycling and reuse! They have their very own permaculture composting space, where they show you how compost is made and used.
The commute to the park is also very easy. For reference, I have attached the image of the bus stop that is right outside the main gate.
A MUST VISIT PLACE! 💗
