Love visiting places which specialize in a particular cuisine. That way we get to taste the authentic food pertaining to that region.
So when I got to visit, Purnabramha, I was very excited. The ambience is good and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Even the service was quick.
Being a weekday it was not too crowded and we got to sit in a Shamiana style sitting.
The menu has a lot of variety in all the courses of the meal and they have a separate section for kids also known as Balgopal section.
In starters, we tried Kothimbir Wadi and Maas Vadi and both dishes were up to the mark and yummy.
Then we had thali of the day, which was huge and had everything traditional in it. Loved it.
Then had Ras Puri and bhaji. The bhaji tasted authentic Maharashtrian style and pooris were nicely fluffed. The Balgopal misal was perfect for kids and it had the right balance of spices. So it was not bland but tasty.
Lastly, ended our meal with Tilgul Poli, freshly made served with a bowl of ghee.Literally, loved this one.
