1441 Pizzeria – Finally got a chance to visit this place during my work and it was completely worth it. Relatively small in size and can fit around 20 people.
Things that I tried:
We started off with BBQ Chicken Wings (Rating 4/5) which I was pleasantly surprised thanks to the perfect balance of sweet and spice, unlike other places which are overly sweet.
Jalapeno Poppers (Rating 4/5) which were not too spicy as initially thought out to be but more cheesy and crushed jalapenos made it worth a bite.
Later I tried to make my own 8 inch in vegetarian pizza which is the highlight of the place. Yes, you get to make your own pizza by choosing your own toppings, as many as you want and test your culinary skills with it. I truly love this concept which is so unique and one can avail this during the weekdays between 4-7pm. They have 3 varieties of sauce, i.e. Italian, Mama and Jain where Italian is tomato sauce (sourced from Italy) and Mama is a tomato sauce with an Indian twist to give you a hint of the spiciness with it. I chose Mama and it was delicious with all the veggies like bell peppers, olives, jalapenos, sun-dried tomatoes, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese which I added. I loved it as I made it all!
Another pizza I tried was the present one i.e. Krish Pizza (Rating 4/5) This came with mamas sauce, sundried tomatoes, caramelized onions, smoked cheese & mozzarella and hints of garlic, jalapenos, basil. Not the best but it gelled well with chilli oil.
At last, we had their desserts i.e. Tiramisu (Rating 4/5) which wasn’t the best as per my experience but the soft gooey cakey texture could have been perfect with little more of coffee flavour in it and the Chocolate mousse (Rating 5/5) was something to die for. Do try this one out!
All in all, a really lovely experience which is so unlike any other regular joint in my opinion. Would love coming back to them for great wood-fired pizzas and hence I rate them 5.
