Stay At This Goan Resort That's A Stone's Throw Away From The Beach

What Makes It Awesome

A luxury hotel at Baga beach, Acron Waterfront promises to give you some serious vacation goals. The hotel is situated about 800 meters away from Baga so that you can slip into some chappals and shorts to head out to the beach. The property has a pool, a jacuzzi and a great staff to help you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. At INR 7,000 (average price, but may change), it seems like a reasonable deal. The resort is known for its yellow, white and blue exteriors that make up for a pleasing sight with the view looking straight into their infinity pool. They also have an in-house restaurant that doles out Goan fare, prepared by Chef Cyrus Todiwala. They also have a river deck in case you want to dabble in some water sports. It doesn’t get better than this for a couple looking to spend a luxurious vacation in Goa.

The location is perfect as it’s far from the city noise yet close enough to all the action. Baga is a popular beach in Goa that is set about 3 km from Calangute Beach. The resort is easily accessible through public transport. After you land/ arrive at the airport/railway station, you can hail a cab or rickshaw to get to Baga. Being one of the major landmarks in the area, all you need to do is ask (or Google Map it). It’s about 40 kms from the airport and 20 kms from Thivim railway station.

The resort seems like the perfect destination to unwind with your better half if work has been taking a toll on you. You can visit their spa, sit in their temperature-controlled jacuzzi or just head out to the beach. Whether you are the not-getting-out of bed kinda couple or a group of friends who are go-getters, it has something for everyone. Did we mention The River Restaurant, the product of Chef Cyrus Todiwala and Chef Pervin Todiwala’s experience in the field of hospitality? A carefully-curated menu that serves Parsi and Goan fare, it is a delight to hang at or hog on delectable food. Also, they serve breakfast till 1 PM in the afternoon. How wonderful.

Goa during monsoon is a different ballgame altogether. It’s greener and cheaper. If that is something you look forward to, Goa’s always game for you. And if you prefer to be bang in the middle of where the river meets the sea, Acron Waterfront is the place. To make your bookings, check out their website here.
