It's modern, it's affordable, and it's unquestionably elegant. We discovered Ada by The Mango Label on Instagram, and we are so glad we did. It can get pretty tough to find a brand or designer that does Indo-Western clothing just right, and while we're all familiar with the bigger brands, it's always nice to #SupportLocalBusinesses?
Ada has a physical store in Bandra, at Hill Road, so make sure you make the visit. Live far from Bandra? No problem - there's a store in Powai as well, at Powai Plaza!
We absolutely adore their chikankari clothing range. With tons of hand-embroidered options, it's easy to find a salwar suit that's perfect for family occasions, and you're bound to find work-friendly kurtis, as well. Need something just a little more dressy? We saw long and short kurtis made of chanderi with traditional "mukaish" work on them, coupled with chikankari embroidery.
