Camping away from the city yet, close enough within a 2 hour driving distance! That is a pleasure to be experienced.
On the shores of Pawna lake, is a perfect setting for camping the weekend away. Among the many campsites scattered here and there, we chose Beyond Camping for it's location and set-up.
The tent quality is very nice as it withstood heavy rains in the night. Food was unexpectedly good for camping stay! The barbecue was a winner for sure. The timings are from 4pm to 9am inclusive of snacks, barbecue, dinner and breakfast in a buffet system.
Ambience of the campsite is very well thought out. Washrooms are clean and the owner Ganpat is very attentive to guest's needs.
They have stocked up the place with card games, cricket set, etc. They also have a bonfire set up, so a guitar or even your own bluetooth speaker could be good to create a great atmosphere.
You can walk to the lakeside for some tranquility.
We also trekked to the nearby forts.
