Chef Rehman who hails from Quereshi family of Lucknow and is known for preparing authentic Biryani and curries. I had the opportunity to order in some of his curated dishes. The kitchen delivers via Zomato, Uber Eats and Swiggy around Versova, Lokhandwala and Juhu.
Here are some of the dishes that we tried. The Kandhari Chicken Tikka serves four massive kebabs that are extremely juicy and soft. We also had the Adraki Ghosh, a mutton speciality of the chef. This bone meat packs a real punch with a ton of spices. Perfect if you enjoy spicy food loaded with masala gravy. It's authentic, so it isn't a kick of chilly in the gravy but a pure melange of Indian (Lucknowee) spices and aromatic herbs. This came along with a laccha paratha.
The Bohri Chicken Biryani is a subtlety flavoured ghee roast biryani. Not loaded on the spices and perfectly balances out the spicy kick that the Adraki Ghosh brings along.
For dessert, we had the Phirni and honestly hands down one of the best Phirnis in Mumbai that I've had. Thick, creamy, gooey filled with saffron goodness and loaded with pistachios. If that description doesn't make your mouth water for a dessert, I don't know what will. By the end of the meal, I was craving for more.
