Our recent visit to Arbour 28 was an absolute delight. From good food to good ambience this place has it all. With amazing and attentive staff this place has got their service on time. With all the safety precautions maintained this place is absolutely beautiful. They have two seatings one is the inside seating and one outside in the open air, both places social distancing is maintained.
Also had beautiful live music on by Varun, he was so enthusiastic and is an amazing singer.
Heading towards the staff, keeping the chef's in mind who served us amazingly brilliant food Chef Sourabh Modi and Chef Hitesh they even made sure to come for us to have the feedback. Our bartenders for the day were Sagar & Roshan and the drink they served was so amazing. We were served and attended by Roshan Salins and last but not the least the manager on board who made sure everything went well Peter Arjun.
Coming to the food, we had some amazing dishes has mentioned below.
Mocktails:-
• Coco loco- This one had a nice sweet taste topped with coconut cream and consisted of lychee and passion fruit.
• Melon Melody:- This one had the sweet lemony taste, also made with musk melon, basil & passion fruit.
Starters:-
• Kolhapuri raan kulcha- A beautiful kulcha topped with some nice Kolhapuri cooked raan, veggies & crumbled brie. To one of the best I had. With so many flavours a pack of bomb to your buds. Highly recommended.
• Chicken scallion pot stickers- A little like dumplings but with a twist this one was an absolute delight to have. Nicely minced chicken filled in dumpling with a nice crispy layer of cheese all over it. It was an absolute delight to eat as well as watch this masterpiece.
Maincourse:-
• Hyderabadi Khatti Kathal: Kathal is basically jackfruit which was cooked so beautifully that I am going head over heels. When the chef told me it's a veg dish but will taste exactly like chicken I was literally in a dillema. But LET ME TELL YOU IT TASTED BETTER THAN CHICKEN or everything else out there. Please do not go on the name and have this one, mark it on your bucket list it's that amazing and a must try.
• Sundried tomato & parmesan crusted chicken- A nice crispy chicken with some salad, mashed potatoes and sundried tomatoes on the side. The chicken was nice tender juicy and highly recommended to all.
Dessert:-
• The Ashtray- Baileys Panna cotta, oreo dust, hazelnut ash chocolate cigarettes. This is definitely a dessert I can have it everyday. The edible cigarette which is given to give the real ashtray feel was out of stock but it did taste super amazing and looks like a ashtray. A unique dessert with amazing flavours.
